The Newcastle and Potteries Folk Song Club

The Potteries Folk Club traces its origins back to 1962. As the longest established folk club in the area, it has been organizing folk song, music and dance events in North Staffordshire for forty plus years.

Derek Gifford has been singing in folk clubs for over 25 years and has developed into an excellent solo performer well known at clubs and festivals throughout the U.K. A recent trip to Australia has also proved his international standing.

You don't have to be a member to attend our events, but if you are a member you pay a reduced admission charge. Join now. Just send £8 (£6 if unemployed, disabled, a student or a pensioner) to:

Please make your cheque payable to Potteries Folk Song Club and enclose a stamped addressed envelope. (You can also apply for membership on your next visit to the club, but, to comply with legal requirements, your membership will not become valid until 48 hours later, and you will have to pay the full admission price that night).
